Alice's Mermails (April 2014, TCG + OCG Friendly)

These are my Mermails. Just in case you couldn't work that out from the title. It pains me to take out the 3rd Megalo, and I miss running stuff like Ocea and Hilde, but hell, what can you do? This is my barebones Mermail deck for now, and I plan to enter it into my nationals at some point. If you've got any advice, or you're curious as to why I run anything, feel free to leave a point and I'll get back to you on it ^.^

I would give advice but you wouldn't take it on board anyways. I'd just say though that Squall isn't needed since the deck now has Soul Charge.

Squall IS Soul Charge. With no cost. That's also searchable. I have no reason to run Soul Charge over Squall. And I wouldn't take your advice because I know a damn site more about Mermails than you do...?

It doesn't restrict you to three monsters, doesn't restrict you to Mermail only and it doesn't force you to commit an extra turn by setting it. Soul Charge is overall more versatile than Squall. Anyways, that's just my opinion.

It doesn't cost me my Battle Phase, it triggers any copies of Linde that I summoned and I don't have to pay an ungodly amount of Life Points to use it. Squall is FAR better than Soul Charge.

You're under the impression that:

1. I posted this here for you to tell me how to run my deck,
2. You know my deck better than I do.

Just because you don't like a playstyle, that doesn't give you the right to tell me to remove it and put in something you find better.

I've seen your builds, and I've seen this build.

Undine and Controller work perfectly.
She doesn't need more draw power, the Reckless and Upstart would be pointless.

Well, Lone Wolf, let me tell you this. I've not told you how to run the deck and I've never said I know your deck better than you do, so do not make assumptions about what I'm trying to say. I've merely made a SUGGESTION, so don't get rude. I dislike the Genex engine. It seems to slow to me, which Mermails aren't supposed to be. Also, from your comment before, I'm glad you're neglecting using Soul Charge.

No. You just stated "Add this, remove this".

So you told me to do things based on what you just admitted were personal preferences.

Yet I didn't flat out tell you " Add this, take out that. " I said nothing of the sort. I gave numbers, and THEN I admitted that it was merely a suggestion.. But, regardless, I'm sorry you took it the wrong way. I apologize. Maybe later we can duel and be friends at some point.

It was just a suggestion to be fair, but the way you worded it with NO explaination, it did come across as rude and commanding. Next time explain maybe?
